BRIEF HISTORY OF THE PASSION STORY CHURCH
After twelve years of doing teens ministry together, KK and Valeria Baidoo were moved by God to start a church modelled on similar principles of authentic Christianity, passionate love, high energy and accountable integrity. So, on the morning of 19th November 2017 our senior pastors gathered together with nineteen other people to start the church at LOVE CENTRE IV, the head office of Teens Aloud Foundation in the Gbawe Zero House neighbourhood. From here, we are growing into every country in the world to bring Jesus close to everyone.
WHY THE NAME “THE PASSION STORY CHURCH?”
Somewhere in the year 2011 KK Baidoo in response to request by people to know about Teens Aloud printed a document about the story and work of Teens Aloud and called it The Passion Story. So earlier on the term Passion Story was used to refer to that document, but with time the term started to be used to refer to the story of people’s lives before they encountered Jesus in Teens Aloud.
OUR LOGO
THE BLUE COLOUR: It signifies our global reach, just as the Bible says knowledge of God will cover the earth like the sea which is everywhere. Habakkuk 2:14
THE WHITE COLOUR: Everyone who comes to the Passion Story Church is washed by the blood of Jesus and cleansed to a state of purity in Christ no matter how long that takes, our end is the pure glory of God. 2 Corinthians 3:18
THE LOVE SYMBOL: We believe that love is the best way to preach Jesus Christ and to make the world know that we know Him personally. John 13:35
THE CROSS OF JESUS IN A LIFE: We shine God’s love until people know Jesus for themselves personally to the extent that they preach Christ always either verbally or by their daily life’s choices. Acts 4:13
THE DANCING CHRISTIAN: The joy of the Lord is here in our church, and the strength we receive from this joy moves us to be energetic and not slow. Nehemiah 8:10
THE SICKLE: Standing for the harvest, we love unbelievers and do everything to reach them, especially for Jesus and His Kingdom. Luke 19:10
OUR STATEMENTS
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your
Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
Because Jesus has commanded us to shine for men to see and praise His Father, we feel that obligated to do exactly that.
The Mission of The Passion Story Church is to shine God's love to people until they start loving God personally and everyone else like Jesus would.
The Vision of The Passion Story Church is to become a community full of loving families who love a dark world with the values of Jesus Christ, using our unique gifts and opportunities to minister Him everywhere on the globe.
OUR FAITH STATEMENT
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the present day works of the Holy Spirit to inspire and empower believers to be effective followers of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the resurrection of the saved to eternal life, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God’s offer of forgiveness and salvation through His Son.
CORE VALUES
Ten core values bring clarity to the things that matter most at The Passion Story Church. They guide how we achieve our mission, influencing leadership decisions as well as everyday ministry plans. They even help us navigate staffing and budget issues. In short, they keep us focused on the unique call God has given us as a local church.

We believe a church should operate as a unified community of servants, with men and women stewarding their spiritual gifts. This includes the concepts of unity, servanthood, spiritual gifts, and ministry callings (1 Corinthians 12 and 14; Romans 12; Ephesians 4; Psalm 133:1).[GIFTED PURPOSE]
We believe loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life. This includes the concepts of love-driven ministry, ministry accomplished in teams, and relationship building (1 Corinthians 13; Nehemiah 3; Luke 10:1; John 13:34–35). [LOVE]
We believe life-change happens best in community. This includes the concepts of discipleship, vulnerability, and accountability (Luke 6:12–13; Acts 2:44–47). [COMMUNITY]

We believe that fun, joy and passionate energy are not just attractive but important to making life in general sweet and Christ desirable. This includes the concepts of dancing, intentional smiles, vitality, and life in all that we do. (Acts 2:46-47; Psalm 16:11; John 11:35) [ENERGY]
We believe that great families make a great Church, so we love to look at this church in terms of families and reach everyone that way. This includes the concepts of great marriages, child upbringing and family accountability (Acts 2:46-47; Psalm 16:11; John 11:35) [FAMILY FOCUS]
